How to Order an OMD Plush!

If you wish to order an OMD Plush, simply click on the Contact button at the left side of the screen. Place the details of your order and choose a payment option.

Currently we are accepting payments thru Western Union, Cebuana Lhuillier Pera Padala, and any Unionbank branch nationwide. We’re also setting up payment options via BPI.

To pay via Western Union and Cebuana Lhuillier, drop by any branch and fill out the required forms. Payments should be made to: OLIVER OCAMPO with the following address: 3/F Jose de Leon III Center, Session Road, Baguio City 2600.

Aside from the dolls you're seeing in this site, OliverMakesDolls also makes custom-made and/or commissioned plush dolls. I can make plush dolls depending on the complexity of the design. Read on for more information.
How much is a commissioned work?
My plush dolls currently come in 3 sizes. The prices are fixed, non-negotiable and only include the standard shapes. Special items may be added, such as jewelry, weapons, etc. but only at additional costs.

8 inches – P2,200 plus Shipping (PhP 150.00 nationwide shipping)
12 inches - P2,800 plus Shipping (PhP 150.00 nationwide shipping)

15 inches - P3,200 plus Shipping (PhP 150.00 nationwide shipping)

How long does it take to complete a plush doll?

A plush doll can take anywhere from 6-24 hour s for sewing and construction. These hours are usually stretched over a few days up to even a week to compensate my schedule. Making these dolls is a part-time job for me that goes along with my other jobs, so I have to juggle these around. From the day I start your order, it should take about 1-2 weeks to finish and ship your doll.
Note that some commissioned work would require me to use special fabric or materials for accessories, for example. Ordering these materials would take 3-7 business days, sometimes even more. This could add to the length of construction.

Why do your custom dolls cost more than the ones in the stores?

This is probably one of the most frustrating questions that plush artists sadly have to deal with. A store bought plush is lower in cost due to 2 major factors: they were made in bulk and most likely in China where raw materials are sourced.

If a plush is made in bulk, the raw materials can be bought in bulk at very low prices. Also the labor costs are usually very low. So the companies that make these plush usually only spent very little per plush and can afford to sell them for, say, 600 pesos, and still make good profits.

Now when you get a plush custom made, just for you, the artist has to pay retail for the materials. Also the artist has to create all the details for your plush just that one time, so they aren't going to gain by making the plush in bulk. Part of creating your doll is to hand-stitch certain parts, and accessories hand-crafted, which are very time consuming. If you're not sure about asking to make a custom doll, feel free to look around and choose other artists.

What forms of payment do you accept?

I'm currently accepting payments thru remittance services like Western Union and Cebuana Lhuillier. Note that these services charge a minimal fee.

You can also send payments thru Unionbank deposit (any branch, no charges). Send me a text message so I can provide you with the Account Number.

Can I Pay Installments?

Most of my clients pay in full prior to beginning the project. But if not, I will be needing at least half of the final estimated cost before I begin working on an order. When the plush is half complete, I will be sending a progress photo, and if you like the progress, I will require the remaining balance before I complete the plush.

Do you accept trades for your plush dolls?
I'm not rich, so I really prefer cash for my work!

Do You Ship Outside the Philippines?

Yes, however, you have to take note that shipping costs outside the Philippines may be high. I am using FedEx when shipping outside the country and JRS Express within the Philippines.

Can You Do Rush Jobs?
Yes! But that would depend on my working schedule. Note, however, that there may be express fees, especially if you want overnight shipping.

Are your dolls safe for small children?

I can make plush dolls for small children, but most of the plush works I'm creating are intended for adult collectors and may have small pieces that may be pulled off or swallowed.

What if I changed my mind about the doll or cannot afford to send the final payment due to emergencies?
I am pretty understanding, so I can always work things out to make sure you are happy. However, if the materials were already purchased or any sewing has been started, I cannot offer a refund.

Do you send out the plush pattern?

No.

Can you teach me how to make a plush doll?

I do conduct workshops on basic plushmaking if I’m not too swamped with work. You may check out the site for schedules and venues.

I have a pet allergy, do you own any animals?

I do. I have a pet dog, which stays outside the house; and indoor cats. Generally, they don't touch any of the items I use for sewing. The construction of the plush dolls are done in a room where they're not allowed. Before shipping, all dolls are checked and cleaned thoroughly. If you have any allergies, you should be okay, but if you have serious pet allergies that may be dangerous to your health, I may not be able to do your request.

Can I have additional accessories for my plush dolls?
Yes, just inform me before hand and we can talk about it.

More than 200 Candy girls and their BFFs participated in the 2nd Candy Magazine BFF Camp held at the Rockwell Tent in Makati City last Saturday, May 22, 2010. It was a fun-filled day for the girls with exciting hands-on activities and lots of photo ops with the Candy Cutie Rangers. Photo booths, free food, dance numbers, team activities, and tons of prizes kept the girls busy the entire day. The event was sponsored by Havaianas, Nikon, Caronia, Jergens, RRJ, and Russ. Spell to Help You Land a Job

You will need:

Voodoo doll

Money Stick

Binding twine

Basil
Red candles
Bitter orange incense
Green tea
A paper
String
Pot

Steps to follow:
Place a pot full of green tea with sprinkles of basil. Encircle it with red candles. Light the candles with Bitter Orange incense sticks as you chant the following,

“O powers that be come grant my fate
A job may I find, sooner than late.”

Write the job you desire on a paper and tie it onto the money stick with a binding twine. Dip the money stick on the brewed green tea with basil. Tie the money stick onto the voodoo doll that represents you. Place the doll on a windowsill, remember to place it such that it shall always face the rising sun. Keep it that way till the cycle of the moon changes. If till this period the desired job has not come your way then leave the doll for another fortnight. This should have the desired effect. Commence the spell on a fortnight so that the cycle of the moon is correctly followed.

Spell to Retrieve a Lost Lover

Love that is lost always hurts a lot. It is understandable the feeling of pain and hurt that one goes through when one is dumped. Don’t you always wish that there was a spell that could help you get the love of your life right back there – in your life? Well most of us would. And here is the perfect spell to do just that:
The only condition (and the main one) is that this spell should only be performed during the waxing phase of the moon.

You will need:

Voodoo Love Doll

Love Stick

Small clean, white piece of paper (with no lines)
White candle
Red marker or pen
Sterile needle
Small red piece of cloth
Red ribbon
A gift or an article given freely to you by the person whose love you are trying to get back.

Steps to follow:

Using the lit white candle, focus on the face of your lover for a few minutes. Once the image of that person is in your mind’s inner eye, write your name as well as the name of your love on the white sheet of paper using the red marker. Next prick your index finger with the needle and dab exactly one drop of blood over each of the names. Have a circle drawn around the names and then have the paper folded in half. Next have the paper placed on the piece of red cloth along with the gift or item given to you by your loved one (ex: a ring or a picture). Then have the cloth folded to form a bag and have it tied with the red ribbon. Bind this bag onto the voodoo love doll along with the love stick and picture the face of your loved one and chant the following spell:

“BE IT DESTINY, BE IT FATE
SEND ME MY LOVER, DON’T LET ME WAIT”

IF your love is true enough and really meant to be, then it is assured that your lover will return to you. Once your task is accomplished, remove the bag from its binding and have the contents burned. BUT if the gift or the item in the bag is really special or precious or cannot be burnt then just put it in a bowl of salt for 3 days in order to have the spell neutralize and also to have the item cleansed.

Spell to Make Your Relationship Last

You are in the perfect relationship. All that you want from your relationship is that it lasts forever and ever. Well there is a spell that you can cast on your lover for achieving just this. Like all love spells this must be cast only for genuine reasons and not to manipulate people.

You will need:

2 Voodoo Love Dolls

Bath Ingredients:
Patchouli oil – 5 table spoons
Lemon grass oil – 2 teaspoons
Cinnamon oil – ground finely
Rose petals
Scented candles
Vanilla or Almond oil – 2 drops
3 drops of musk oil

Steps to follow:

Make a mixture out of the patchouli, lemon grass and cinnamon. As water is the key element of love, water may also be used in the preparation of this mixture. The mixture must have the consistency of tomato pulp. Fill a bath with water and mix the pulpy potion with it. For best results, the use of warm water is preferred. Now spread the rose petals in the bath and then add the almond and musk oil at the end. Dim the lights and place the lighted scented candles around the room. You may use as many candles as you please. Bind the two voodoo dolls with a binding twine or a ribbon. Place the bound dolls near your bath. Making them wet is not a problem. Then make sure that you and your partner have a bath together at the same time. As you step into the tub soundlessly chant the following verse three times:

“Oh spirits of the yore, forget my past
Please make this relationship last”

The spell should normally take about 36 hours to come into effect. If it doesn’t work it can be repeated after a period of 18 days from when the charm was first performed.
